Outreach North East

Outreach North East is a single point of contact for teachers and advisers in the North East of England which aims to provide impartial information about higher education to help teachers and advisers best support their students in making informed choices about their futures.

Outreach North East provides a website containing information on the higher education providers in the North East;

• a searchable directory of the outreach activity available to schools in the region
• impartial information on how teachers can best support their students with higher education progression
• opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders in the region delivering related support for young people
• CPD opportunities for teachers and advisers, both face to face and online to support improved information and advice for young people in the region.

This work is being carried out as part of the Office for Students' Uni Connect Programme, offering a powerful, strategic and flexible network with local and regional partners, able to support the levelling up agenda and delivery of other government priorities in local and regional communities.
